About Bhakti Marga

Bhakti Marga means the ‘path of devotion’. Paramahamsa Vishwananda gave this name to His international mission to show people the simplest way to discover their eternal relationship with God.

A true living Master

Paramahamsa Vishwananda is the source of infinite grace. He answers prayers and removes internal obstacles to a person’s spiritual progress. He takes responsibility for all who take initiation under Him and who make a sincere effort to follow His teachings and guidance.

Swamis & Swaminis

The Sanskrit word swami means ‘master of the self’. Swamis (men) and swaminis (women) have been chosen by Paramahamsa Vishwananda to spread his teachings and lead communities around the world.

Rishis & Rishikas

Bhakti Marga rishis (men) and rishikas (women) are traveling teachers who carry a special blessing to spread the mission and share the teachings of Paramahamsa Vishwananda.

Brahmacharis & Brahmacharinis

Taking the vow of brahmacharya is meant to be lifetime commitment and not to be taken lightly. The bramacharini (women) or brahmachari (men) are monks who live a celibate life for God, renouncing the material world and supporting Paramahamsa Vishwananda and His Bhakti Marga mission.

Devotee Initiation

For people who know in their hearts that they have found their path and are ready to seek the shelter and guidance of Paramahamsa Vishwananda as their guru.

Initiation is a commitment to live His teachings while upholding worldly duties of work and family.
