Frequently asked questions

What is Darshan and what can I experience at the event?

Darshan is a personal blessing received from Paramahamsa Vishwananda. Each registered attendee will have the opportunity to receive a personal one-to-one blessing from Guruji. Please remain at the venue and follow the guidance of the Darshan team until you have received your blessing. Along with Darshan, enjoy uplifting kirtan, explore the Bhakti Marga shop and vendor stalls, connect with fellow devotees and visitors, and share a meal included in your registration fee.

Is the Darshan blessing free and what does the registration/event contribution cover?

Yes. The Darshan blessing itself is freely given by Guruji. The registration/event contribution assists with the costs associated with organising and hosting the event. Final pricing and applicable terms will be displayed before payment.

What registration categories are available and what do VIP/VVIP include?

The categories are General Entry, Pensioners, Children under 10, VIP and VVIP. Prices, eligibility requirements, seating areas and the exact benefits of VIP/VVIP are still being confirmed. What each category includes, and does not include, will be shown here once confirmed.

How do seating, priority access and wristband colours work?

Check in at Registration to confirm your booking and receive your wristband. VIP/VVIP does not guarantee earlier Darshan. Elderly attendees, wheelchair users/persons with disabilities, those who are sick, pregnant women and parents with young children will receive priority, subject to final national confirmation. Proposed wristband colours are Green for priority/special guests, Red for VVIP, Purple for VIP, Blue for General Entry and Black for the no-photo/no-video area (to be confirmed). The event team will guide attendees according to the confirmed seating, priority and Darshan movement plan.

Can I register my family/group together, and will everyone receive their own QR code?

Yes. One person can add multiple family/group members, select each attendee's event(s) and category, and complete one checkout. Each attendee is registered individually and receives their own confirmation/QR code.

What if I do not receive my booking confirmation or QR code?

First check your email inbox and spam/junk folder. If confirmation or a QR code is still missing, contact the Darshan registration support team at info@bhaktimarga.co.za. Your booking can also be verified against the attendee database at the on-site registration desk; please bring your booking/payment confirmation.

What time should I arrive, and can I register or pay at the venue?

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the Darshan start time to allow sufficient time for parking, registration/check-in and receiving your wristband. On-site registration/payment will be available; however, advance online registration is recommended to minimise waiting time at the venue.

What accessibility and priority assistance is available?

Attendees requiring wheelchair or other accessibility assistance should indicate this during registration. Venue-specific accessibility, parking/route and contact information will be shared once confirmed. Priority assistance follows the process described above.

Can children attend?

Yes, children may attend subject to the final event registration terms. Children under 10 attend free (age rule to be confirmed). Please add each child as an attendee and choose the "Children under 10" category.

What if I need help, need to change/cancel my registration, or do not want to be photographed/filmed?

For registration, payment, confirmation or QR-code queries, please contact info@bhaktimarga.co.za or the relevant Cape Town, Durban or Johannesburg local contact listed above. The change, cancellation and refund policy is displayed before payment. Darshan events may include photography, videography and/or livestream coverage; media consent options are part of the registration form, and a designated no-photo/no-video arrangement will be confirmed.
